Now that i'm not working, i had plenty of time to pursue fulfilling a dream of mine, hike the top of golden ears mountain. But like most dreams, they're chill when your dreaming them, but when it comes to real life, they suck. Much like Golden Ears hike. I was very disappointed. 90% of the hike is in trees or bush. You don't actually get to above the tree line, and any kind of interesting terrian or views, until the last hour. It took me 10 hours in one day, and by the end my legs felt like bubble tea with extra coconut jelly. You might as well tie a Juniper to your face and lie down in the middle of a busy street, having your legs run over and over again by passing cars...cause thats basically the experience i had. I'm thinking of retiring from hiking. I've already retired from golf, baseball, ultimate frisbee and equastrian sports...so i might as well add hiking to the list.
It has come to my attention that my blog is turning into little more than just a link to youtube, and lacking in actual content. So i decided to alter that trend and update ya'll with something from my life, lest this blog become another mindless archive of videos attempting to convince you of my coolness with their content.
today i successfully listened to a whole tape on learning spanish, without actually learning anything. Tengo tonto (i have stupid)
